Look no further than his dad, who was taken 11th overall in his draft and ended up being the best player taken and it wasn't even close.
And these types of things happen in pretty much every single draft.

That's great but if you are drafting second overall and you want Tij you can trade back and get serious extra assets and still get him. Otherwise you take the BPA which won't be Tij Iginla at the draft on anybody's draft board.
