Sergei Makarov was with the Flames for two playoffs and only scored one goal. The team lost in the first round both times.

Jiri Hrdina was a good regular-season performer, but put up a grand total of one point in three playoff appearances with the Flames – including the '89 run.

Brad McCrimmon was defensive gold in '89, but in 1990 he actively quit on the team and led a group of players campaigning to get Terry Crisp fired. Cliff Fletcher had to dump him for a draft pick just to get rid of the malcontent.

As I say, that's just players who were on the 1990 team. I mentioned that team because it was obvious that they were playing to get the coach fired. The low point was a 12-4 playoff loss to the sub-.500 L.A. Kings. Lindholm was never part of anything like that.
