The think the reviews are spot-on.

I totally disagree with Lanny's assessment - far too generous IMHO.

On the surface it is trying to pump out lots of 'style' but really it is pretty hollow underneath all of that. It is fun enough to watch i guess, but hardly memorable. The characters were simple, the plot too straight forward with no real twists, and a lot of the plot points were either outright implossible and/or depended far too much on everything working perfectly.

Only the first one was really any good. The third is the weakest by far.

Put it this way - there is no way you could actually pull off 80%+ of what is done in Ocean's 13 and it is not like it is even partially possible. As you watch you quickly become aware of the fact that more so than in either of the earlier films, you know the entire time that the entire movie is set up to work out perfectly.
