Is 3 years crazy to be competitive? I don't think so. A lot of things have to go right I'll admit but if Conny sticks to his guns I think he can have the rolling into wildcard spots by the time the new rink is online.

Just because they say it’s a retool doesn’t make it so .
The flames don’t have the existing talent to do a retool. You need a couple at least of younger elite core players to build upon.
The longer they play it as a retool, the longer the rebuild will take.
