But this could have been done nicer with trees instead of...weedy gravel.

There are lots of examples of 4 unit row homes being developed into 50 foot corner lots in the inner city. Pretty much every corner along 24th Ave by Confederation Park is a new 4 plex. A lot of corners in Westmount are becoming 4 unit developments.
