Yeah that can be frustrating. My veins aren't even that hard to find, but they're towards the side and not in the middle. Last week the tech starts looking in the middle of my arm, I tell her there's no vein there. She insists there is and that it will hurt less than the vein to the side, jabs me and starts digging around.
