Maybe he gives them a list and they agree to do what they can if they get value. Tell him what that is, why not. A first and a high quality Centre prospect.
There’s lots of time for things to cool down. And he’ll be far away from the asinine rumour journalists for a few months too.

Markstrom is getting older and wants to win now, that isn't in the cards here. He absolutely is a pro but he also wants an opportunity to take a team far and nobody should blame him one bit if he decides to leave which I am about 95% sure is going to happen.
