If you've ever made the trek on hiway 16 all the way out to Prince Rupert you'll know that from Terace to Prince Rupert that the road is down quite close to the river. Apparently there was a pretty high snow pack in B.C. and this is the result. It's a very scenic valley, and the Skeena as gets ready to drain into the Pacific gets pretty wide. Looks like unless you have an Amphi car you won't be able to get too far out of Rupert though. Amazing what nature can do.
