It would be much more appropriate than the Toronto Raptors, who got their name because it was a year after Jurassic Park came out. I always find it funny when people make fun of the Mighty Ducks because they were named after a movie, but have no problem cheering for the Raptors.

The Utahraptor is actually closer in size to the creatures in the movie that were called Velociraptors.
