Sam Waterston is now going to be the new D.A. on Law & Order replacing Fred Thompson who is running for President. I like the move but does it feel like the show is getting on it's last legs? I haven't enjoyed Law & Order since Steven Hill (anybody remember him from the first season of the original Mission Impossible) was D.A. The total changeover of cast doesn't bid well for the show and NBC moved Law & Order Criminal Intent over to the USA Network awhile ago.

I haven't watched the show since they got rid of Benjamin Bratt and the dude from Sex and the City. The funny thing was not so much the cast changes that were annoying, but the introduction of better (clearer) camera lenses to the show. The old types of camera used were a bit grainy and created a sense of something always about to happen. Too bad it's on it's last legs, because it was a really good show.
