I am absolutely uninvested to a large degree, haven't been to a game since 2019 outside of 1 game at Mullett to see The Flames last season so I'm not even close to a die hard fan today.. But I TRULY believe the NHL can work in Arizona.. but it's just such a shame that the team has been run by absolute pretenders since day 1.

In regards of the first bolded, the problem is that they're not. They don't even have the land that their proposing now. They're very far from a solution that they can actually carry through with.
The second bolded I agree with. The situation in Arizona since mid 2000's has been a non-stop ####show, and the NHL really wanted to make it work there consider it tried to make it work for almost 20 years since the mess started. The owners never gave it a chance to have a solid foundation to be stable on. If a prospective owner in the future can secure an adequate arena in an area that's viable for fan retention, and ensure stability for the franchise for a good duration of time, then it's second go around should be a much story than this one has been.
