There are people in jail who are on constant suicide watch. There are people in jail dying of cancer. If she were some joe blow from Idaho, I doubt they would give two craps about a "nervous breakdown".
I guess I know several people(meaning 5-6) who have gone to jail for pretty much the same thing as her and 100% of them were released while serving about 3-4 days of a 20-30 day sentence. Hell my friend went to jail and only served 1 day of a 36 day sentence. California and Texas(where I am) jails are just too crowded so they generally scare nonviolent offenders by throwing them in there and then let them out shortly thereafter.
