What I really do like in Tig's case is that the Flames scouts should have a better handle on his "intangibles" than any other team. Players are so well drilled by the time they make the draft. Better than ever when it comes to what to say, what not to say, media, interviews, etc. I imagine it can be very difficult when you sit down with a player for 30 minutes to know if you are getting the real scoop, or if you are getting fed canned answers that their agent has drilled them on. Nobody is going to come right out and say "ya...I stay up until 4AM on game days playing Fortnite"
With Tij, there is likely a very good understanding of his character, commitment, etc. for the Flames that other teams wouldn't necessarily have.
You have to think that this likely bumps him up the flames internal draft board because he would have fewer question marks around these areas for the Flames.
Nobody knows which pick is going to be a bust, or which 4th rounder is going to pop off. (unless it's the Oilers, then there is a higher than normal chance of them ruining a prospect).
