But I also agree with Fuzz...any further action on this by the City is a complete waste of time and money and should not be entertained. Straight to the shredder.

That list of verified dupes has to be worth quite a bit to telemarketers, etc. The City should sell it on the sly.
Also, if they have to go through the whole verification process, even for such a relatively small number of signatures, the entire cost should be totalled and divided amongst the signatories to pay.
