Zacha is actually a fine player, but just not the impact player that the non-centers picked after him are.
OK, I'm bored now. It seems like a lot of teams waste picks or settle for a lesser player in order to try an chase centers at the draft, especially outside of the top 5.
If the Flames already had the other blue chip pieces in place, I would get why people would want to take the gamble, but as of right now, a lot of people are anticipating a problem that doesn't exist yet. There is no point in worrying about potential "missing pieces" when the puzzle is just starting.
