The Oakland situation is because the lease is up and the city ####ing hates John Fisher after being a complete weasel.
The city put forth a heavy but imo fair deal and Fisher decided he wouldn’t bother negotiating and just put the team down in Sac instead.
The difference between the Coyotes and the As is that the people who want to keep the team in the area are the complete opposite. Oakland desperately wants to keep the As, while nobody in Arizona could give a single #### about the Coyotes.
