Good weather for me is based on the sunshining - cloud cover and weeks on end of it is depressing.
I hear what your saying, but to me -5, -10 is still cold to me...which is a common temp when snowing here. As one can tell i despise winter altogether. I could handle a little winter if we actually had a hot long summer here, like out east, but since our summers are not close to my liking, it makes winter a little tougher to endure.
