We've been down this road previously with Denis where it appears he's making some positive changes to his game only to see him revert back to the wildly aggressive Shapo who has very little shot tolerance. Over the last two tournaments though, I see a much more composed Denis on court and a willingness to stay in the point longer and see if he can force an error from his opponent or a short ball before trying to hit a winner.

Now the clay season starts and that patience will be tested even more. I don't even know if wins or losses are really that important currently, in my opinion he's playing the game the right way and as we all know, the margins are razor thin between winning and losing a match. He certainly could have forced a 3rd set against Arnaldi in Miami the way he was playing and then you never know, he could have eked out a win.
