Probably the same reason Canada and the U.S have borders with Mexico and with each other.
You make it sound like its Egypt's problem or responsibility to open their borders.
All countries have borders and Egypt knows Israel is purposely causing a genocide and famine so egypt takes in the Palestinians and Israel can sell more stolen land to the chosen ones in the united states.
Egypt and the world is smarter than that and more people are starting to see right through Israel.
