If it helps at all, I dumped Markstrom in my NHL24 franchise, and went with Vladar/Wolf right out of the gate to start this season. They were 80 and 79 respectively at the start and both finished that way too... but during the offseason, Wolf jumped up to an 85 while Vladar stayed at 80. Wolf is now among the top 5 in wins.
So... essentially what I'm saying is that this is unequivocal evidence that we should indeed move on from Markstrom, because Wolf is going to jump up to an NHL starting goalie rating this offseason, and I fully expect him to jump into the 90s (or elite goaltender status) in the following offseason.
This is the way. NHL24 has decreed it.
