Short on the challenges this week.
The flag challenge seemed...dis-proportionally hard compared to the balloon one. Or maybe there was some kind of trick to the flag challenge we just didn't get to see get figured out because basically no one did it.
The face-painting on those Monarch dancers was very well done.
I have been wondering some about needing to select contestants for physical fitness/aptitude. I had been starting to say age, but...Chris was the oldest at 60, with Derek next (57). The two older ladies are tied in age (Shelisa and Angie at 55)...so I don't think that age is the issue here, as the difference between Shelisa and Angie clearly shows.
But...watching Steve last season and now watching Chris and Angie this season...I am worried they are going to fall over from a heart attack or something and that's...not fun/entertaining to watch. I'm not cheering them on, hoping they 'overcome the odds'...I am actually watching them worried we're going to see one collapse into a heart attack. I don't like that, and it's not entertaining.
