His injury issues this year have been frustrating, but you also need things to go your way. Zary comes up and leads the team in on ice shooting percentage (he's contributing to that, but it's bounces too). Coronato and Pelletier start on lines that don't produce, end up on the fourth line, then get sent down.
He'll be fine. Too smart a player.

As you say, he will have a career - he's a good positional player, thinks the game well and doesn't mess up often. Where he fits in a lineup will be a debate - I see him as a checking winger who may pop for 20 goals/40 points sometimes. But he won't hurt you on the top two lines if he has to fill in and he has energy to play bottom line.
