I’m a little torn on this. Some of my friends give me the gears for being a member at an out of town course. They think it’s too far to drive to, which I sort of understand. But then again, you’re driving to play golf. Like it’s not work, and I’m not sure how impactful it is for me. If I was a member at a city course (taking money and waiting lists out of the equation), does 15 minutes each way make a meaningful impact?
If I have a 4:30 tee time, I’m kind of either leaving at 3:30 or 3:45 to get there, hit a few and get to the tee. Not really a massive concern, IMO.
