Late to this one but Fincher’s The Killer was quite a mediocre experience to sit through. It existed and it was a C effort all around.

I know he’s beloved but Fassbender was an awful casting decision IMO, it never felt right throughout the whole film. With a different actor it could have been a relatively engaging movie. Perhaps it’s the type of film that would play better in a cinema and other people. I’ll still see what Fincher makes next but they can’t all be zingers
