I don't know if assuming it takes an extra few years to complete a degree makes someone dumber is something someone with a degree would think. Not very logical at all. Especially not considering the circumstances.
I'll tell my oncologist buddy who spent 12 years in school he's an idiot because he switched from engineering after the 4th year.

I should note that my comment was not at all to imply he was dumb, and sorry if it came off that way. I don't think that years in school proves anything about intelligence.
I was more ribbing the entire profession of human resources in general
but it was meant to be light hearted. In retrospect, moving to comment on his lack of production in college hockey and mentioning that it doesn't track well for NHL production made it seem more predatory than it was intended.
