Throw in another pick (2nd or 3rd) if needed to get it done. I don’t think that the Sens new ownership wants to wait another 2-3 years to compete for the Cup, suspect they want to fast track that process this offseason.

This would be a really solid trade IMO. Not sure if Ottawa would go for it though. So rare for any team to ever trade a pick in the top 5. It might need to be a swap of Calgary’s first round pick for Ottawa’s first round pick for it to work.
