Morin is still quite young. Only turning 19 this year. His development path is going well. Imo.
My guess is, like they did with Poirier, they told the kid to work on his positioning and defence this year. That often limits scoring opportunities.
He still generates the highest shots per game rate of all QMJHL d men. Even if the points arent coming this year.
But that's just a guess.
