I always coached Bingo Jr to be a two way center that read the play and made sure we were protected five on five to turn overs ... drop into an F3 position if his linemates were too deep, but free reign if there was support.
This is winning hockey.
But man when he was evaluated every year I'd hear evaluators talk about how "he wasn't getting in there" etc. Was complete crap, which you saw when the puck dropped in the real season and he was a Tazmanian Devil with a defensive conscious.
Not everyone appreciates solid two way hockey without flash.
