But the thing with DST is that the change is there and it's annoying for no benefit. There's nothing gained by doing this, so we're adjusting for no reason.

No benefit? So having an extra hour of daylight after work isn't a benefit? Do you live in a cave where sunlight doesn't enter? With the increased sunlight after work I was able to drive home with the sun shining instead of in the dark. I am able to get more rounds of golf and more bike rides in. Those are all great benefits to me.
