Gotta disagree with ya VFF. Last season of the Sopranos blew chunks with the exception of JR. shooting Tony. This season has been awesome, but the AJ story has crapped the bed. I think he will play a
MAJOR part this week, but it has been hard to watch so far. Paulie will not turn on Tony....write that down..won't happen!
The "offing" of main characters (Christopher, Sil & Bobby) has been shock and awe but overall the writing of the coming ending of the Shield has it out in front. The Sopranos has left too many loopholes to close in one 61 minute episode while the Shield still has a season of mayhem ahead of it.
BTW - I heard they have taped 3 endings of the Sopranos, so the cast does not even know which way they are going. I pray it's not some stupid Tony coma dream sequence or Christopher sitting at a computer writing all of this storyline. That will make baby Jesus cry....
I love the Sopranos and have seasons 1-4 on DVD but if asked by a friend, I will recommend someone watch seasons 1-6 of the Shield first.
