That's what those of us watching live saw ^
Pretty normal reaction for an impartial observer to notice that and have the impression that it doesn't look good.
There would have been photo ops after the fact which I'm guessing those photos are from. But that's not what we saw live, and it stuck out.
Also KHQ isn't just a rando actor presenter. He's the preceding winner. Seems like it's social convention if nothing else to acknowledge the winner before you.

Woof. That's quite an inordinate reaction to being called wrong. Way to jump to personal attacks and scramble to do investigative work on the Google to double down instead of just rewatching it and recognizing what the rest of us saw.
Obviously RDJ has been though some #### and isn't cut from the same cloth as a guy like Murphy. It's not so much about cancel culture as much as calling a spade a spade when you see it. RDJ is a great actor at the end of the day and will continue to find work. This won't change that and shouldn't.
KHQ still deserved better during the presentation, even if it was done inadvertently by RDJ because of the big-ness of that moment.
