3 years is aggressive, and who knows what happens. Could be a Dallas style rebuild with young stars surrounding overpaid vets. They also got really lucky and have not made much noise in the playoffs.
Once names start getting attached to those picks we will have a better idea. I know they want a good team to open up the new arena, but 3 years is very very aggressive.

And some luck. Do the Avs win a cup if Makar is picked first and they take Heiskenan or Patrick? (BTW, NJ, they also won because they made a big OFFSEASON trade for a goalie).
