I really was happy with Hanifin's time in Calgary. He was dependable, seemed like a good teammate/was well liked in the room, and seemed like a good guy with the media/community; however, the way he and his agent went about their business over the last month really poisoned my opinion of Hanifin. I get wanting to have a say in where you play, but to tamper in potential trades/significantly affect the team's ability to conduct its business is really ####ty.
It's petty, but I hope he can't get the 8th year on the contract.
