I wasn't sure where to ask this and it definitely doesn't warrant its own thread so here will have to be good enough.
Does anyone actually monitor "future considerations"? I've often seen trades with future considerations, but I don't ever remember hearing about a transaction that was dating back to a trade that stipulated future considerations.
Seems like it's just a dump. Do teams eventually have to pony something up or does it just kind of fade away? Is there any sort of enforcement or timeline where something has to happen?
