As it stands, with a few pending free agents for next year, they already have over $68.8 million in cap hits on the books for next season. Even if they trade Markstrom and run with Wolf and Vladar next season, they still shouldn't have any problems reaching the floor once Kylington, Okhotiuk, and Pelletier are extended.
The nice thing about that is it means they won't feel compelled to overpay guys this summer just to hit the floor on opening day.
