In regards to your question, getting the 2026 pick from Florida means the Flames don't have a 1st in 2025 as they have to transfer their 2025 pick to Montreal. The only exception being if the Flames draft 1st OA in 2025, then they give the better of Florida or Calgary's 2026 1st plus a 2026 3rd to Montreal. |
Man, I just tried to read the Calgary 1st to Montreal conditions and my brain hurts.
But it seems a lock we'll get Florida's 2025, no?
