Okhotiuk‘s underlying numbers where bad, even considering context. One of the few players where those numbers and the eye-test didn’t match for me.

That’s probably because he brought some Ooompf and his stickhandling and skating looked really impressive in bursts.

Really low for a guy they hyped up a ton in the Meier trade.

After being told by Sharks management that Okhotiuk was an important part of the Timo trade, it's hard to see him gone for a 5th after only one year.

I thought Okhotiuk looked better than Thrun. But I'm very bad at judging talent and potential at this stage. Still, Sharks have very few players who can play the body.
