Hanifin must be the team’s target in July provided Vegas doesn’t sign him first. If that means Stammer walks then so be it. It’s really not a hard decision, invest in the future or continue to pay production that has long passed its shelf life. JBB must sell parts tomorrow for a brighter future.

This defense is so #####ing bad! It’s like the Bolts are on a penalty kill even when not short handed. Just chasing the puck, no backcheck, no forecheck. There doesn’t seem to be any structure at all. At least not one that’s effective.

They absolutely do. But the 2020 defense wouldn't be good enough to win with this level of goaltending. Not even saying he's been bad tonight, just in general. So it's just, the top priority problem is Vasy figuring out whatever's going on, because adding defensemen won't matter if our goalie remains consistently worse than the other team's goalie.
