GSAx/60: 2nd (Large gap between him and 3rd)

And we can look at historical trends in goalies. NHL GMs show how they value Goalies in 3 ways. Trades, Draft picks, and salary.
They are getting less and less money (See: Helle, Sorokin deals)
Going later and later in drafts
and getting smaller and smaller trade returns.

Corey Schneider was traded at the draft, in the off season, a long time ago. The market is constantly changing. That is why a guy like Ben Chariot got such a big return yet Tanev could not. The market fluctuates, you can't compare the market years ago to today's market. You also shouldn't make definitive statements like Mercer will not be on the table because you don't know what the other perimeters of a deal could be or what is being discussed.
