He's a UFA winger. Lindholm wasn't having a great season at the time the Flames traded him but centers carry higher value. I know some fans are sensitive towards anything that can be misconstrued as criticism for towards the Flames but it's not about the Flames and more that a 1st and one of the top prospects in the league would be a massive overpayment. Not going to get worked up though as I feel this rumour is a little far fetched.
