Here's the thing....he isn't just a "throw in".
He obviously was a guy they liked (they have certainly seen him play enough) as evidenced by immediately extending him for 2 years.
Now you, I and others may not agree with what they did or who they targeted, but you can be sure that Conroy and his staff had their convictions about the return and stuck to them. Like every deal ever, time will tell if they were right or not, but in this case they got a guy they clearly feel will be a player for them.
I want them to do that on every single trade ever.
