Too bad he hasn't been able to finagle that young NHL center. But maybe that's coming. Clearly we had to adjust expectations around here.

If Markstrom gets moved between now and the summer we are looking at a bottom 10, possibly bottom 5 team next season. There's a good chance post deadline that this team drops into the top 8 range of the draft which is a good start to get a quality player. Then next season they should be picking in the same range and possibly top 5. I think things are setting up nicely especially if they can hit on some of these accumulated picks from other teams.
