All true.
Hoping the Vegas pick turns into a really good one is like hoping you win $500k in a lottery (I know you're going to say the pick being good is more likely than winning the lottery so I'll reduce the winning amount in my analogy).
Hoping Miromanov turns into a player is like hoping Matthew Phillips turning into a player.
I know you like to take risks and what ifs are exciting, but you're really putting money on the far more unlikely outcome, and most times do you that, you lose.
Everyone wants to play for Vegas. They attract many FAs and are always in on the biggest names in trade. I doubt they will bottom out.
I'll give you the 2nd. At this point, I consider that a given they win against the Oilers (at least I hope). 2026 1st, 2025 2nd and Miromanov for Hanifin is the most likely return. It's still not good.
