The teams that would have been left would have been the same 3 or 4 teams. The Florida teams had nothing to offer in terms of picks until 2026 and their prospects were mediocre. Maybe Boston was in the mix but I doubt they trade many prospects/picks this deadline. Maybe I am missing something but I think Craig would have been talking to the same teams and looking at the same types of returns. Not every team wants nor needs the best dman, even on Friday.
