Just saying, lets depend on Vancouvers 24 playoffs (bump that pick down to mid 20s), 25 Florida, 26 Vegas and whoever gives us their first for Markstrom to do the sucking here. Why do the Flames have to be the ones who suck.
They've got a respectable signed core, if not somewhat under preforming the past few years. They've got an above average rookie class this year. They've got a hand full of new blood in the roster that may not be blue chip but seems to be fully ripened. They've got a stud AHL goalie that just needs some NHL confidence. And they have cap space. They may not be good next year but I see no reason to beleive they will be terrible.
