Sure the 1st is sexy but based on other cap dumps the opportunity cost of taking on that Johanen contract with no other factors would be the 33rd overall pick. (Puckpedia.com/caprelief)
Considering Colorado's 1st round pick is very likely to be somewhere between 25-32nd...that would mean you got almost nothing in return for Walker.
