So what? If Hanifin is traded as a rental and refuses to play, he's in breach of contract and loses about $1.1 million (and Brisson loses his percentage of that, and pisses off that team's front office).
Hanifin is not going to give up seven figures, and Brisson is not going to burn bridges with his valuable connections, over a rental deal.
