Hard for the Flames to trade with Tampa or Florida unless they offer up a really good roster player, which is doubtful IMO. A 2026 1st is a player that likely won't see the lineup until the turn of the decade at the earliest. A late first is a player usually on a five or six year development curve. Not sure the Flames are going to want to wait eight or more years for a player. Would have to be way more and more immediate for what Conroy wants to do.
