The difference between Hanifin indicating who he’ll sign with and indicating nothing is the difference between getting a few offers that are better because they could be a sign and trade and getting strictly offers that treat him as a rental.

Its mind bottling in here. I think people would have been happier if Hanifin just said he was the testing free agency no matter what.
For all we know the agent is working the media to get another team to step up on a contract and trade offer.
