NHL players are given media training, so they know to keep things tight and not let too much information. He's Swedish, English may be his second language but Swedes all speak English at an extremely high level and are taught the Queens English in school like everybody in Europe, their vocabulary and their way with words are vastly superior then the American English we speak.

NHL players are taught to be team players. They give praise to teammates, coaches, opponents, the organization. Hence why every player is always "so excited" to leave a cup contender and join bottom feeding organizations.

This was a direct shot at management/ownership/organization. This isn't a news reporting issue or him being upset at people getting traded, this is the NHL. It's media and trades.

Historically the Flames have been a poorly run organization from the top down that leads to results that are WAY below average. Any of us here on CP could be in management/executive positions and miss the playoffs regularly like the pro's do.

When a mild mannered Swede goalie, a player who plays a position that doesn't scream being vocal says something, it means something behind the scene is happening that pissed him off. End of story
